I am currently working in the cannabis industry because my mom has Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and she was able to eliminate a handful of pills plus weekly shots with cannabis as medicine. Now I see individuals getting life-changing results from using medical cannabis for their condition on a daily basis. I have always worked in the health and wellness industries in many different areas of retail, activism, and education. I gained invaluable experience from my various management roles and interacting with a wide variety of people. I’m excited and passionate about helping people and companies I believe in. I have worked in non-profits and co-ops for most of my career, and have decided to go all-in with cannabis as a way to help the most people. I am thrilled to be working for Takoma Wellness Center because it’s my hometown (4th gen Washingtonian) and our mission, vision, and goals are in complete alignment. Formerly the Marketing Director and Board Member for Potomac Massage Training Institute, Store Manager and Board Treasurer for Takoma Park Silver Spring Food Co-op, General Manager of Your Farmacy Dispensary in Maryland, and Sales/Training for Holistic Industries.

Work experience within the healthcare field as an occupational and physical therapist in outpatient and inpatient clinics, regional schools for non-verbally disabled children, and high schools. A lot of patients within these various aspects of PT & OT valued cannabis for their rehabilitation process. During my senior semester of undergrad, I composed a 30+ page thesis on the effects of cannabis on Parkinson's disease, specifically, levodopa-induced dyskinesia and tremor symptoms. My career goal is to enter the cannabis research field and increase knowledge concerning cannabis and its' medicinal benefits.
