Takoma Wellness Center is now accepting patients from DC and those with a medical cannabis card from any US state with an active medical cannabis program.

Enrolled patients and caregivers may purchase up to four (4) ounces of cannabis in any 30-day rolling period. The District’s reciprocity rules allow non-DC residents enrolled in another jurisdiction’s active medical cannabis program to purchase medical cannabis at a DC-licensed dispensary. To purchase, the patient must present a state or territory-issued medical card or document from a jurisdiction that has qualified for reciprocity. Non-DC caregivers are not permitted to purchase cannabis without their patients accompanying them.

Takoma can accept state cards from the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California (state card only – no physician certifications), Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington.

Takoma Wellness Center can accept DC cards that expired after February 28, 2020, however this will stop on September 1, 2021. Please ensure that your card has been renewed prior to that time.

Takoma Wellness Center is just around the corner from the Red Line TAKOMA Metro stop. We offer free on-site parking and handicap accessibility. Takoma Wellness Center accepts cash and debit cards. We have an ATM in the lobby if you would like to pull out cash to make your purchase.

Monday – Thursday, 11:30am-7:00pm, Friday 11:00am-7:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays 11:00am-5:00pm.
